Founder & Co-CEO

A graduate of Amherst College, Brad also earned an MBA from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He and fellow Stanford graduate Andrew Housser co-founded Freedom Financial Network (Freedom) in 2002 with the goal to create a company where success is only achieved by doing what’s right for customers, employees, and communities.

What Brad and Andrew started in a spare bedroom in 2002 has now grown into a business that employs over 2000 employees (known internally as The Freedom Family) in two locations: San Mateo, CA and Tempe, AZ. Brad serves as the co-Chief Executive Officer.

Freedom Financial Network provides an array of financial solutions for American consumers through its subsidiaries; Freedom Debt Relief, Freedom Financial Asset Management, FreedomPlus, ConsolidationPlus and Bills.com, which Brad founded in 2005 and where he currently serves as CEO.

Entrepreneur magazine named Bills.com #3 in the Hot 100 fastest-growing companies in America and Inc. included it on its 500/5000 in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Brad, together with his co-founder Andrew Housser, was named to the Silicon Valley 40 under 40 list by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and is a past winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Northern California.

Freedom Financial Network companies have also been recognized with multiple showings on the Inc. 500 list, as well as the Entrepreneur Magazine’s Hot 100 companies list.

He is an active investor, board adviser and board member of entrepreneurial companies. He is, or has been involved with, several entrepreneurial companies including BioIQ, Goldline International, Robertson Colleges, Position2, SharesPost, Stream Dynamics, Vertical Brands, Group Card, First to File, GoalSpring, Key Health, Home-Account and Vitality Health.

Brad currently lives with his wife and two young children in the San Francisco Bay Area, but the family also travels as often as they can to explore other cultures and contribute their time to volunteer opportunities.

Every day, Brad works hard to continue bringing transparency and empowerment, in a simple way, to Freedom Financial Network customers and employees.
